Mark Levi
President

Mark Levi started his diverse career doing theatrical lighting and video design in high school. Majoring in video production, Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University where he designed audio, scenery and lighting for many of the college productions. He also served as the Technical Director for the campus auditorium and Appalachian’s Summer Arts Festival.
After college, Mark joined The Charlotte Repertory Theater as Technical Director. Later, he worked with The North Carolina Dance Theatre starting as Master Electrician, then moved up to Lighting Supervisor and eventually Production Manager. In 1993, Mark joined Special Events Services as Lighting Designer and Production Electrician touring the East Coast for four years with various productions including: Hootie and the Blowfish, Franklin Graham, Dave Matthews and many large corporate events.
After putting down roots in Charlotte, Mark worked for Paramount Parks Design and Entertainment, overseeing internal projects within the Entertainment and Capital Attraction Divisions. He also worked with the Global Entertainment division on many high-profile projects like new ship builds for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Lines in Europe and managed the annual Senior Leadership Meetings for First Union Bank, now Wachovia.
Mark envisioned taking event production to a higher level, so in 2005, he left Paramount to create his own company comprised of state of the art equipment and a staff of serious professionals who deliver incredible event production based on a fair price and a commitment to the client’s objectives.
Brian Ferguson

Brian Ferguson started in the business at the ripe old age of 15, working with local production companies on the west coast. By 18, he was spending his summer’s traveling and providing technical support as Project Manager for live events.
Brian now has over 19 years of experience in the entertainment and production industry. He’s toured with a national ballet company, large-scale corporate events, live television broadcasts, arena-style productions and theater. He’s worked as Production Designer, Technical Director, Lighting Designer and Director, Rigging Coordinator and Production Stage Manager for everything from simple business meetings to complex New York theatrical performances.
His varied work experience has helped him develop a diverse skill set and knowledge base. Brian believes in “pushing the envelope”, taking production levels higher with each event, incorporating the newest technologies and techniques to deliver unique and innovative solutions for every client.
Brian has a degree in Economics from the University of Rochester, with specialization in Operations Management, Public Sector Analysis and Behavioral Economics through the Simon School of Business.
Patrick Hollowell
Vice President, Communications
Being the resident AV geek in high school, Patrick kept all the sound systems and filmstrip projectors working while mixing audio for local bands and providing lighting and audio support for local theatre groups.
In the late 1970’s, he formed Entertainment Technical Services, designing lighting and sound systems for night clubs in North and South Carolina. He also served as Production Manager and DJ at the 2001 VIP nightclub in Charlotte, producing a variety of entertainment, multi-image and fashion shows.
While producing events for the Special Olympics and Belk, Patrick’s company evolved into Consolidated Technologies. “Contech” served primarily as a live event production company working some of the cities largest events including the grand openings of the former Charlotte Coliseum, Panthers (now Bank of America) Stadium, the Charlotte Convention Center, the Speedway Club, and appearances by both George Bush Sr. and Jr.
In 1998, Patrick added video production services and formed Paradigm Communications Group. Paradigm handled all video operations at Blockbuster Pavilion for two years and Patrick directed video for over 30 national artists ranging from Sting to Alanis Morissette. Patrick has directed and provided video, media and technical support for Major League Soccer, the Atlantic Coast Conference, the PGA Sr. Tour and the Wachovia Championship.
The real magic began when Mark Levi and Patrick Hollowell joined forces last year by adding Paradigm to the Total Event Production team. Patrick shares Total’s vision, “Anyone can bring the gear to the table, but the commitment to do whatever it takes to exceed expectations and make it personal, that’s what
makes us different.”
