In 2002, seasoned audiovisual veterans Mark Levi and Jeff Nickles, pooled their talents to open Production Design Associates-Charlotte, a large scale lighting and rigging company. PDA-Charlotte quickly became the premier creative and technical lighting company in the area. Their motto, “bring the customer the best we can every time” guided the company’s rapid growth and made them one of the most sought-after production firms in the Southeast.

As the rapid pace of growth increased, client demand created the need for a complete solution beyond just lighting and rigging. Mark and Jeff responded by introducing Total Event Production, offering the largest inventory of conventional and intelligent lighting, extensive rigging, soft and hard scenic elements, high end audio, and a newly formed team of experienced professionals. The team boasts over two centuries of combined experience in creative, production and management specializing in big corporate events, intimate high-profile shows, meetings of all sizes, trade shows, conventions, forums, conferences, and political events.

Total completed their synergistic menu of services by adding full-scale video production in 2007. Total merged with Paradigm Communications Group, a 23-year old company that built its reputation on providing the highest level of quality video from pre-production to the final cut.
